Terms of Service

These terms are a contract between you and RightPlano, currently operated by its founder as an individual while a legal entity is formed in [the United Arab Emirates; update entity details upon incorporation]. By using www.rightplano.com or app.rightplano.com (the “Service”) you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

RightPlano is a planning tool. It projects your own numbers and assumptions across currencies and scenarios: net worth forecasts, Coast FI and Full FI figures, debt payoff, budgets, and a freedom date.

RightPlano is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Outputs are estimates that depend entirely on your inputs and assumptions. Market prices and exchange rates come from third-party sources and can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. You alone are responsible for your financial decisions; consult a licensed professional before acting on any projection.

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• An account is required to use RightPlano.
• Keep your credentials secure: you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Give us accurate account information and keep it current.

Free. The Free plan is free forever and includes the core planning tools.

Pro. A paid subscription (monthly or annual) with a free trial. When the trial ends, the subscription starts billing unless you cancel first; we will tell you the trial length and price before you start. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time; you keep Pro until the end of the paid period, then drop to Free. Your data is never deleted for not upgrading.

Lifetime (Founder). A one-time payment covering the lifetime of the product: all future updates to the core Pro experience, no recurring bill. Optional future features with ongoing third-party costs (for example bank sync, AI assistance, or licensed real-time market data) may be offered as separate paid add-ons. Lifetime is non-transferable and limited to a Founder cohort.

Withdrawal and refunds. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a paid purchase. For digital services this right lapses once you expressly request immediate access and acknowledge losing the withdrawal right; our checkout will ask for that acknowledgement. Outside mandatory rights, payments are non-refundable, but if something is broken, write to us and we will be reasonable.

Price changes. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email; changes apply from your next renewal, and you can cancel before they take effect. Lifetime purchases are never re-billed.

• Do not break, probe, or overload the Service, or bypass its security or access controls.
• Do not access anyone else's data or attempt to.
• Do not use the Service for unlawful activity, including money laundering or sanctions evasion.
• Do not resell, scrape, or white-label the Service without our written agreement.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Your planning data is yours. You grant us only the limited licence needed to store, process, and display it back to you in order to run the Service. Handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. You can export your data (Pro) and delete your account at any time.

The Service, including its software, design, brand, and content (but never your data), belongs to RightPlano and its licensors. These terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service; they transfer no ownership.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of projections, prices, and exchange rates. Nothing in this section limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.

To the fullest extent the law allows: we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, savings, or data caused by events outside our reasonable control; and our total liability for all claims in any 12-month period is capped at the greater of USD 50 and the amount you paid us in that period. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your mandatory consumer rights.

If your misuse of the Service or breach of these terms causes a third-party claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and damages arising from it.

You can stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, unlawful use, or if we discontinue the Service, in which case we will give paying users reasonable notice and a pro-rata refund of any unused prepaid period (and, for Lifetime, a fair remedy).

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be confirmed at incorporation; expected: the United Arab Emirates or a UAE free zone such as DIFC, whose courts would have jurisdiction]. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws, and the right to bring proceedings in the courts, of the country where you live.

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. For material changes we will email account holders at least 14 days before they take effect; continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms. The current version always lives at this page.
